New Quarantine and Isolation Protocols: If the student is vaccinated, no quarantine is required. If the student is not vaccinated, the student will be required to quarantine for 5 days. Students will be considered unvaccinated unless proof of vaccine is voluntarily provided to the school. Any student exhibiting symptoms must stay home for at least 24 hours and be tested or quarantined for 5 days if symptoms last more than 24 hours.

Students – Close contact or COVID-19 in the household 

● If the student is vaccinated, no quarantine is required. 

● If the student is not vaccinated, the student will be required to quarantine for 5 days. 

● Students will be considered unvaccinated unless proof of vaccine is voluntarily provided to the school. 

● Any student exhibiting symptoms must stay home for at least 24 hours and be tested or quarantined for 5 days if symptoms last more than 24 hours. 

● It is recommended that anyone who has been exposed get tested 5 days after exposure. 

Staff – Close contact or COVID-19 in the household 

● If the employee is vaccinated or unvaccinated, no quarantine is required. 

● It is recommended that anyone who has been exposed get tested 5 days after exposure. 

● Employees are required to complete a daily attestation and those exhibiting symptoms need to stay home and be tested if symptoms last more than 24 hours. 

COVID-19-positive students and staff 

● Whether the individual is vaccinated or unvaccinated, a 5-day isolation is required. 

● After the 5-day isolation, if the individual is asymptomatic or symptoms are resolving and there is no fever for 24 hours without medicine, they may return to school or work. 

● If symptoms last more than 5 days, the individual can return when symptoms are resolving and there is no fever for 24 hours without medicine. 

● All positive tests must be reported. Student cases should be reported to the school. Employee cases should be reported to their supervisor. 

Mitigation measures – Masking will continue to be a mitigation strategy for positive cases in classrooms and departments. Classroom quarantines will be evaluated with the new CDC guidance in mind. 

Masks are required for all students, staff and visitors.

● Los empleados deben completar una certificación diaria y los que presenten síntomas deben quedarse en casa y someterse a una prueba si los síntomas duran más de 24 horas. 

Estudiantes y personal positivos para COVID-19 

● Ya sea que la persona esté vacunada o no, se requiere un aislamiento de 5 días. 

● Después de los 5 días de aislamiento, si la persona está asintomática o los síntomas se están resolviendo y no tiene fiebre durante 24 horas sin medicamentos, puede regresar a la escuela o al trabajo. 

● Si los síntomas duran más de 5 días, la persona puede regresar cuando los síntomas se estén resolviendo y no haya fiebre durante 24 horas sin medicamento. 

● Se deben informar todas las pruebas positivas. Los casos de estudiantes deben informarse a la escuela. Los casos de empleados deben informarse a su supervisor. 

Medidas de mitigación: el enmascaramiento seguirá siendo una estrategia de mitigación para los casos positivos en las aulas y los departamentos. Las cuarentenas en el aula se evaluarán teniendo en cuenta la nueva guía de los CDC. 

Se requieren máscaras para todos los estudiantes, personal y visitantes.
